On March 8 at noon, the muralists and some of Dege’s friends and family will hold the official unveiling of the mural, featuring a barbecue and a performance by Dege’s band, The Brethren. Champagne’s Market will donate some of the meat for the barbecue. The unveiling takes place on the day that Dege was found two years ago, to honor his memory both in song and in stories. Anyone whose life was touched by Dege is encouraged to come by and tell stories about him or just to listen.
