Broome County Parks 11th Annual Scarecrow Contest and Display

Broome County Department of Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce the 11th Annual Scarecrow Display Contest, to take place at Otsiningo Park in the Town of Dickinson, October 1-23, 2026.
Individuals, families, businesses, clubs, groups and organizations may enter for a chance to win prizes. Entry is FREE of charge for this event.
Visit https://broomecountyny.gov/parks/events/scarecrowcontest for entry form. Entry forms are due by September 24, 2026.
Scarecrows must be completed and set up at the Otsiningo Park between September 26th- September 30th.
Vote for your favorite scarecrow by visiting Otsiningo Park and cast your vote at the voting station!!! Voting begins 10/1/26-10/23/26.
Winners will be announced October 6th!
