BroomCraft: Intention-Sealing WorkshopCraft your very own magical broom by sealing it with your deepest intentions in this one-of-a-kind workshop at SoulLumination. Each participant will receive a locally handmade house broom from Husk Brooms, crafted with care by skilled artisan Tia Tumminelloright here in Pittsburgh. Because each broom is made to order, reservations will close two weeks prior to the event so we can ensure your broom is ready for you.
During this immersive workshop, you’ll learn about the lore and ritual history of the broom while transforming it into a personal tool for magic, protection, and empowerment. Together we’ll explore creative and spiritual ways to infuse your broom with intention, such as:
Carving & Burning Symbols – use wood engravers, paint, or metallic pens to add sigils, runes, initials, or designs that represent your personal intention
Ribbon & Knot Binding – wrap ribbons or cords in colors tied to your goals, knotting them with spoken affirmations as you go
Herbal Infusion – weave sprigs of lavender, rosemary, or cedar into the bristles, or tie on herbal bundles to anchor your chosen energy
Written Intentions & Sigils – tuck slips of paper with written prayers, affirmations, or hidden sigils into the handle or beneath ribbons
Breath & Voice Work – chant, speak, or “breathe” your intention into your broom as you decorate it
Elemental Sealing – pass your broom through incense smoke, anoint it with essential oils, sprinkle salt, or add a final wax seal for grounding and protection
By the end of the class, you’ll not only take home a beautifully adorned broom, but also a powerful heirloom-quality ritual tool infused with your energy.
