Brookvale Bassline Sessions #7 - Tuff Tone x Yabai HiFi [NAARM/MEL]

After a heavyweight and sublime session with Yabai HiFi in January, the crew has been busy playing sessions, festivals and building an even bigger sound system!
Come check out Yabai's expanded stack for even more deeper bassline and quality vibrations!
We're running it back at the Northern Beaches bass sanctuary, Manly Spirits Co. Distillery, for an unforgettable day of roots reggae, and dub from 6 PM - 12 AM.
🔊 Two Sounds [SYD & MEL], One Vibe.
The community support for the first edition was legendary, and we’re bringing putting on another dream session which will make the ground shake:
- TUFF TONE SOUND SYSTEM ft. Dub Vader at the controls + Special guest selectors TBA.
- YABAI Hifi [NAARM/MEL]
YABAI HIFI BIO: Yabai is the result of deep listening -an ear tuned to the pulse of Black music across Aotearoa and Guam. Inspired by the raw energy of Naarm’s DIY scenes and the renegade sound culture of home, Yabai Hifi was created to honor the music by playing it on a sound system worthy of its message.
We are a multi-genre community bound by I&I values, standing firm in the belief that dance is an act of freedom. In a world comprised of systems that weigh us down, Yabai offers a release. We are here to see you dance, to see you free, and to let the bass carry the weight. This is conscious dance. This is Yabai.
Both custom-built, heavyweight systems will be locked in session, pushing their incredible stacks to the limit, featuring special guest selectors joining the line-up to keep the riddims crucial and the energy high from start to finish.
