Join us on Saturday 17 May for an exceptional performance by two of Australia's leading period musicians.
Bronzewing blends the ancient and the contemporary in a vibrant and dynamic fusion. Donald Nicolson (synths) and Katie Yap (baroque viola and vocals) are important figures in Australia’s period music scene, renowned for their profound expertise and passion for both early and modern sounds.
Their music reflects a diverse range of influences, from the medieval compositions of Hildegard von Bingen and the Baroque mastery of JS Bach to the experimental electronic works of Jean-Michel Jarre and the contemporary storytelling of Gabriel Kahane.
This concert is part of the Boyd Music Series, presented in collaboration with Sydney Opera House and performed at Bundanon’s award-winning Boyd Education Centre from May until November 2025.
