Bronx Zoo's Boo at the Zoo 2024

The Bronx Zoo's Boo at the Zoo is an annual Halloween celebration that takes place in October. It's a family-friendly celebration featuring trick-or-treating costume contests and spook-tacular animal encounters. The event occurs after dark with the zoo's pathways and attractions transformed into a twinkling wonderland. It is scheduled to take place on Saturdays and Sundays from September 30 to October 29 including Monday October 9.

Guests are encouraged to wear costumes and some animal habitats are even designed to resemble haunted houses. The event is a unique and fun way to experience the Bronx Zoo in a way that's both eerie and enchanting.

• Dates and Times: Weekends from September 30 to October 29 plus Monday October 9. The event runs from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day
• Ticket Information: Tickets are required and must be reserved in advance. Member reservations include access to Boo at the Zoo activities.

New Attractions for 2024:

• Spooky Stories: Folktales from around the world featuring zoo animals held at Giraffe Corner.
• Animal Skeletons Exhibit: Showcasing fascinating features of various animal skeletons at Grizzly Corner.

Returning Favorite Activities:

• Costume Parade: Featuring stilt walkers and Halloween-themed puppets on Astor Court
• Additional Halloween-themed attractions:Halloween lawn games on Astor Court
• Special Events:Spooktacular Night Walk and Sensory Sensitive Spooktacular Morning are also offered.

Visitors are encouraged to come in costume and enjoy the Halloween-themed activities along with the regular zoo exhibits.
