'Brontë' by Polly TealeIn 1845, Branwell Brontë returns home in disgrace, plagued by his addictions. As he descends into alcoholism and insanity, his sisters escape into their own imaginary worlds. Brontë by Polly Teale is a powerful and evocative exploration of the Brontë sisters' lives from childhood to death, contrasting their literary genius with the struggles they faced in a time when educated women were expected to be governesses rather than poets. Set against the harsh but beautiful landscape of the Yorkshire moors, the play delves into the passions, isolation, and creativity of Charlotte, Emily, and Anne, as they wrestle with their inner demons and societal expectations. As their famous works — Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall — come to life, the boundaries between reality and imagination blur. Join us for an intimate, gripping journey into the minds of three of English literature's most iconic voices.

HOW TO FIND US
The NEW NoName Theatre is at Hietaniemenkatu 7 B in Kamppi. The entrance is technically on Lapuankatu, past the K-Market. Ring the "5th Floor" buzzer to the left of the blue gate under the "Keskisuomalainen Osakunta" sign. The main door will probably be unlocked, but if not, ring the fifth-floor buzzer by the door. Once inside, take the elevator up to the fifth floor.
SCHEDULE
The doors to the theatre itself will open 30 minutes before the start. Please arrive in good time – due to the setup of the stage, latecomers cannot be admitted.
ACCESSIBILITY
There is an elevator to the fifth floor. Unfortunately, there is no wheelchair accessible bathroom.
