Set in the 1990s at a Battle of the Pop bands, the show is a comedy remix of Shakespeare's most popular tragedy, Romeo and Juliet!Two pop bands, both alike in popularity, battle it out both onstage and off. Meanwhile, a pair of star-crossed lovers meet up to defy the odds. Set to a soundtrack of 90s pop, the story proves that love is love by any name.
This is our special Pay What You Can Performance - we want to ensure everyone can see live theatre so just $5 can get you in. We do encourage you to pay more if you can - half the proceeds will benefit Up North Pride.
As with all Mashup's there's plenty of audience participation to be had, most importantly the audience gets to vote on who wins the battle and therefore how the show ends!
