For the past three years, Broadway Express y Más has empowered artists to step fully into their potential through mentorship and professional development. Founded by Maria Torres of the Maria Torres Emerging Artists Foundation (MTEAF) in collaboration with Vilma Villavicencio, President of Checklist Events and former Co-Owner of the New York International Salsa Congress (NYISC), the program connects emerging and established artists with leaders from both the arts and business worlds.

Participants gain practical tools for long-term success—building an entrepreneurial mindset, learning directly from leaders’ journeys, strengthening personal branding, growing confidence, and developing financial literacy. With inspiring speakers, engaging conversations, a dynamic roundtable chat, and intentional networking, this experience is designed to uplift, inform, and spark real growth.
