About this Event
French engineer Jean-Marc Jancovici will be at LSE on the 21st of October to give a talk in English with Dr Eugenie Dugoua on the future of energy transition through the lens of Franco-British models.
- Jean-Marc Jancovici is the head of The Shift Project, a non profit NGO which seeks to progressively phase out of fossils fuels and co-founder of the Carbon 4 consultancy specialising in the energy transition for businesses. He appears regularly on multiple media outlets and notably wrote "Le Monde sans fin", most sold book in France in 2022.
- Dr Eugenie Dugoua is an environmental economist specialized in innovation and energy, she has collaborated with multiple event and institutions and now works as an assistant professor in the LSE Geography and Environnement Departement.
The conference will start at 6:30 in the Sheikh Zayed Theatre in CKK.LG on LSE campus (please be there 20 minutes early) and should finish around 8PM.
The public will have 30 minutes before the end of the conference to interact with Dr.Dugoua and JM-Jancovici.
