Bring your child/ren along to create their very own Christmas pottery piece/s Including reindeer planter, gnome, Xmas tree, or 3 hand made decorations to create or hand glaze. Includes glazing & firing. Plenty of examples! Parents welcome to participate for the cost of an extra child’s ticket.
During this fun pottery class, you and/or your child/children will learn how to create beautiful Christmas pottery such as a gnome, reindeer planter, Xmas tree, or 3 Christmas decorations. Alternatively your child can hand paint with glaze, a set of 3 pre-made Xmas decorations that will be ready to collect prior to Christmas Day. Your Creations will add a touch of festivity to your space. You don't need any prior experience in pottery to join this workshop, so don't worry if you're a beginner! We'll guide you through the entire process, ensuring that you feel confident and supported every step of the way. This class is super easy and suitable for all ages from toddlers to teens, so feel free to bring the tribe.
During the class, you'll learn how to mould and shape the clay, as well as various techniques for adding texture and detail to your pottery piece/s. Then leave the rest to Wendy from Lil Miss Potty Mouth who will glaze and fire your pottery so that it’s durable and will last for many years to come.
Working with clay can be a calming and therapeutic activity, allowing you to tap into your creativity and focus on the present moment. As you create your animal planters, you'll find yourself immersed in the process, experiencing a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction, and deepening your parent-child bond through this fun and creative shared experience.
At the end of the class, you'll be amazed at what you've achieved and could have a cute collection of festive pieces to collect in 4-8 weeks time, unless you’ve chosen the hand glazing option which will be ready prior to Christmas Day. So, why not join us for this fun and engaging class.
