British Birds - Blackpool Album Launch Show

One of the most exciting live bands in the UK, British Birds combine the garage-punk energy of Billy Childish, the wry English sophistication of XTC and the witty pop inventiveness of The Lovely Eggs.
British Birds are siblings Bobby (guitar and vocals) and Emma Townson (keys and vocals), James Robinson (bass), Mike Ainsley (percussion and guitar), and Dom Lawson (drums). Working from their ‘apocalypse bunker’ HQ in Chorley, Lancashire, they are a resolutely DIY band, recording and mixing their music in house and printing their own merch. Their first two albums were self-released, selling hundreds of copies at gigs and at a few chosen record stores.
They head to Blackpool to celebrate the release of their 3rd album ‘Murmurate, Oscillate’ with Skep Wax. The first time the album will be played in its entirety as a full band! Plus a second set of fan favourites.
Wakefield pop punk teenagers Pretty Fried will be opening the night so be sure to get down early!
