1920's/Gatsby dance at Blackpool Tower Ballroom

After finally managing to secure an autumn Saturday evening at the spectacular Blackpool Tower ballroom, we will get to experience it full of glitter and glamour with a 1920's/Gatsby dance. The date is Saturday 23rd October 2026. Limited Earlybird ticket are available til Monday 18th May for only £27!! The music will very similar to Vintage Spotlight's previous dances. The band will be Tessa and the Applejacks who play some fantastic danceable swing music. Tessa is an amazing singer.
This will be glamorous event, harking back to the heyday of Blackpool Tower ballroom dances. (except I'm afraid I'm banning ballroom dancing again as I still think the mixture of swing and ballroom is unsafe on that particular fast dancefloor). The dress code will be 1920's/Gatsby or evening wear.
Can you imagine how fabulous it will look in that gorgeous ballroom with people dressed up in the glamorous 1920s/Gatsby style? It will be a spectacular evening and a chance to take some amazing photographs.
The DJ will be the ever popular Windy and there will be exhibition dances of charleston, tap, lindy and balboa, also a showgirls dance featuring people some of you might recognise!
Earlybird tickets for only £27!!! Normal admission will be £34, same as for the the April dance. The price of £27 is a saving of £7 per person or £14 for a couple - worth having.
I will offer refunds for these tickets up to a month before the dance.
If I get a good response to the Earlybird offer I will also hire another Art Deco style dance room in the Tower building for afternoon dance lessons, some vintage stalls and to be a lovely place to hang out in your finery for the afternoon.
