Bristol Ramp Antics 2026: Free Skateboard Lessons

Route One Bristol are offering free skateboarding lessons on 1st August 2026 from11am to 1pm.
Route One present Ramp Antics, in association with Nike SB.
Ramp Antics is a nationwide event which sees Route One take ramps to areas that lack quality skate facilities, giving the local community a chance to get involved in skateboarding.
As part of our Bristol Bear Pit event on 1st August 2026, we are pleased to offer free skateboarding lessons from 11am to 1pm. The lessons will take place at our pop-up skatepark at The Bear Pit, St. James Barton Roundabout. Two Skateboard GB qualified coaches will be on hand to help attendees learn the basics of skateboarding. Whether you have never stepped foot on a board before or have already got the basics down, this is a great opportunity to get advice and tips from our skateboarding experts. All abilities welcome. (7+ minimum age for skateboard lessons).
Each group session will run for one hour (11am-12pm / 12pm-1pm), giving attendees plenty of tutoring time with our Skateboard GB qualified coaches. Boards, helmets and pads will all be provided on the day, so don't worry if you don't already have your own equipment.
