When:- 30th May
Where:- Bristol Harbour (Start at Cottage Inn Steps, Sprint to SS Great Britain, turn and back again)
What:- A day of sprint racing in Celtic Longboats set in the beautiful surrounds of Bristol harbour
Who can race:- Any Fixed seat rowing club
Do we need to bring anything:- Just your crews of 4 and a cox. Boats, Oars, safety kit etc will all be provided.
Welcome to the beautiful Bristol harbour where Clevedon coastal will be holding a day of sprint races. Crews of all abilities from all rowing class (So long as it is fixed seat) are welcome to take part. There will be Class entries for Ladies, Men and Mixed. If requested we will also look to hold a Junior event.
The race is a 1 Mile (1.6Km) sprint. It will be run as a set of timed heats. Each run will consist of 2 boats racing each other over the course.
