Bristol Ballet Summer Intensive for Intermediate/Advanced Students with Jace Coronado

Bristol Ballet is excited to host a 2026 summer intensive for intermediate and advanced students. We will be welcoming master teacher Jace Coronado for the week. All intermediate/advanced students are welcome, even if you are not a current Bristol Ballet student. Jace Coronado is a native Texan born under the name Jesus Manuel Pacheco and later embodied the stage name of Jace Coronado when he joined Actor's Equity. His Broadway credits include: West Side Story (Tio/Pepe), Disney’s Aladdin (Featured Ensemble/Swing) National Tour: West Side Story 1st Nat’l (Tio), Guys and Dolls 1st Nat’l (Liver Lips Louis), An American in Paris 1st Nat’l (1st Male Swing, Msr. Baurel Cover, Mr. Z Cover), Disney’s Aladdin (Swing), International Broadway Revival of An American In Paris (1st Male Swing, Msr. Baurel/Mister Z Cover). His Off Broadway/Professional credits: Susan Stroman’s Merry Widow (New York Metropolitan Opera), Aida (New York Metropolitan Opera), Broadway Bound Can Can (Valentine LeDessose), "The Donner Party Project" for Broadway Dance Lab, and "Peter Pan Live!" (Transport Group, NYC), and was the Opening Act for "A Night with Ben Vareen" (Palace Theatre, Stamford, CT). Regional credits: Disney’s When You Wish (World Premiere, Shang/Featured Dancer), Beauty and the Beast (Ensemble/Featured Dancer), Sister Act (Pablo), West Side Story (Bernardo, Toro), The Light in the Piazza (Fabrizio Naccarelli) *Ostrander Award for Best Actor, Curtains! (Aaron Fox) *Ostrander Award Nominee Best Featured Actor, Oklahoma (Ali Hakim) *Ostrander Award Winner for Best Choreography, Altar Boyz *Ostrander Award Nominee for Best Choreography. Ballet Companies/Guest Artist Work: Ballet Austin, Ballet Memphis, Les Ballet Trockadero, de Monte Carlo, Neos Dance Theatre, New England Dance Theatre, Gleich Dances, Thomas/Ortiz Dance, Northeast Youth Ballet, Roxey Ballet, Ballet NY, Ballet Verite, and MorDance. He has also been working as a Master Teacher and Choreographer for various schools and companies in the New England area. He holds a B.F.A. in Dance and Vocal Performance from West Texas A&M University and studied at the School of American Ballet.
The intensive will include classes in ballet, pointe/pre-pointe, Broadway Jazz, variations, dance history, and more. It will conclude with a showcase performance. We hope you join us!
