🎨🐝 CALGARY ARTISTS: The Bees Need Your Vision! 🐝🎨Registration is officially OPEN for the 2nd Annual Brisebois Bees Art Box Exhibition Contest!
Brisebois Bees started right here in Brentwood in 2015 with just one nuc. Today, we manage over 70 honey bee colonies, and we want you to be a part of our story. We are looking for community members to turn a deep Langstroth super (a real beehive box) into a masterpiece.
These aren't just for show—once the contest is over, your art becomes a working home for thousands of honey bees in our city apiaries! 🍯🌻
✨ WHAT’S NEW THIS YEAR? ✨
We have two dedicated categories for all skill levels:
👶 The "Worker Bee" (Youth 12 & Under)
👑 The "Queen’s Choice" (Adult Fine Art/Technical Skill)
🗓 THE SCHEDULE:
Deadline to Enter: March 31
Box Pickup (Brentwood): April 10–12
The Art Show: Sunday, April 26 at the Triwood Spring Market (Triwood Community Centre)
