On April 23rd, the Public Arts Institute of Canada invites you to the inaugural exhibition of Dear Canada — a national travelling art series exploring the question at the heart of our country: What is Canadian culture?

Multiple artists from Calgary have responded — in paint, photography, textile, and more — with their own answers. Their work won't resolve the question - it will entice it.

Join us for an evening of art, conversation, and community at Element Cafe in Calgary. Whether you were born here, chose here, or are still figuring out what here means to you — this exhibition is for you.

Dear Canada is the first in a long-term series of exhibitions that will travel across the country, gathering voices, building dialogue, and asking Canadians to imagine themselves together.
