Join us for a relaxed social urban walk alongside the Brisbane River, through Teneriffe and New Farm to Howard Smith Wharves (and return).
A little different to our usual bush walks, lots of photography viewpoints, views of the river, parks, and the city.
This walk is designed to help people get outdoors, meet new people and enjoy some fresh air and good conversation along the way. There are a couple of gentle inclines on this walk, but nothing too strenuous.
We’ll be walking at a relaxed social pace with regrouping along the track, so no one gets left behind. New members and solo attendees are absolutely welcome.
⛑️ A basic first aid kit and qualified first aider will be present.
🧻 Public toilets, cafes, and shady rest spots are available along the route.
After the walk, anyone interested is welcome to join for coffee nearby.
What to bring:
• Water
• Comfortable walking shoes
• Hat and sunscreen
• Snacks if needed

• Participants are responsible for ensuring they are fit and prepared for the walk
• Walk may be postponed in the event of unsafe weather conditions
Carpooling is encouraged for those travelling from similar areas.
