Welcome aboard the excitement of RQYS Brisbane Race Week 2026!From 1 May to 6 May 2026, join us for five days of yachting fun set against the breathtaking backdrop of Moreton Bay.
Whether you’re a seasoned racer or new to the sport, our diverse race formats, including the exhilarating “hot laps” around Green Island inspired by Formula 1 qualifying, promise an unforgettable experience for all sailors.
The Onshore Programme
While the on-water action is fierce, the camaraderie truly shines onshore! Our 2026 onshore programme is packed with events across multiple venues, open to all sailors, friends, family, and visitors:
Friday Opening Fiesta: Kick off the regatta with a high-energy Opening Ceremony featuring fantastic food and live entertainment at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron.
Weekend Parties: Keep the momentum going with themed nights and playful cross-club revelry with a collaboration between the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron (Saturday) and Wynnum Manly Yacht Club (Sunday).
Wednesday Grand Finale: Celebrate the week's victories at the closing ceremony and awards presentation the famous RQYS Bistro.
Don’t miss your chance to test your skills, soak in the camaraderie of the sailing community, and sail towards victory at this premier event hosted by the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron.
