Bringing in the Bystander® College Train-the-Trainer at Carthage College

Location: Room A in the Todd Wehr Center (TWC)

This event is your chance to become a certified trainer in bystander intervention! Join us at Carthage College for a hands-on train-the-trainer workshop will train facilitators to implement the Bringing in the Bystander® College Prevention Program.

Attendees will gain the skills to facilitate the program themselves as well as adapt and implement the curriculum on college campuses.

Participants will:

1. Receive an overview of the BITB College curriculum with experienced trainers.
2. Apply trauma-informed facilitation skills.
3. Learn strategies for adapting BITB College to unique campus cultures.
4. Understand the facilitation and adaptation of the BITB College curriculum.
5. Practice bystander intervention strategies.
6. Expand professional networks with other attendees.

Registrants must have a current license that does not expire within 6 months of training date.
