Bringing Home Capt. Wilibald C. BianchiJoin us as we welcome a true American hero back to New Ulm.
On April 24th, the Bianchi family will be bringing Capt. Wilibald C. Bianchi home from MSP International Airport. We invite the community to stand with us in honor and remembrance as he makes his final journey home.
Capt. Bianchi will be accompanied by a formal escort, including the Brown County Sheriff’s Department, New Ulm Police Department, and the Legion Riders.
📍 Honorary Stop in New Ulm
The Legion Family and community members will gather in front of American Legion Post 132 to wave American flags and pay their respects as the procession passes. Following this brief stop, the procession will proceed to the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home (MVFH).

Location: American Legion Post 132 (and along the procession route, will enter New Ulm HWY 15 from North on Minnesota St. heading south by American Legion)
