The Exploring Joara Foundation and the History Museum of Burke County are pleased to bring back this very popular day. This event is open and free to the public.
Have you unearthed what you believe to be an artifact? Maybe you acquired something you think may be historically significant? Archaeology Day is all about finding out what you have. Dr. David Moore will be on site at The History Museum of Burke County to offer his expertise. Bring in your artifacts, stones, pottery, or sherds for him to help identify.
EJF will have Berry site artifacts and replicated tools and pottery on display. There will also be activities for kids to enjoy.
