Bring Hope Dragon Boat Race & Festival

Join Bring Hope Now for a fun day where over 400 team members will race for the cause of saving lives by supporting suicide prevention and Mental health education for our youth military and community.

The Team Parade starts the day off at 8:45am and is always one of the big highlights led by the Chinese Dragon and this year will feature festive drummers followed by the ceremonial dotting of the dragon’s eye to kick off the races. Each boat contains 20 paddlers a drummer and a steerer. There will be approximately 20 teams this year. Food drinks fun and auction items will be served throughout the day. DJ Zoran will be on hand throughout the day providing fun and entertainment and then Paradise Bayou Band will head up the celebration party beginning after the awards ceremony at approximately 2:30pm.

Attendance is free to the public. You’ll have the opportunity to buy raffle tickets and bid on great auction items as well. Come out and support those families who are struggling or have lost a loved one to suicide while helping to support our school & military peer resiliency programs building a local residential youth treatment facility and educating every community member on how to spot and support a struggling friend or family member.
