A Breighton first and an exceptionally rare opportunity. The world’s only surviving wartime Avro Anson Mk I will be visiting Breighton Airfield from 24th-26th June 2026.
The team will be using Breighton as an operating base as they prepare to return the Anson to its birthplace, Leeds Bradford Airport, where the aircraft was originally built in 1943.
We’re also excited to announce that on the 25th June 2026 the team will be offering taxi runs, giving members of the public a rare chance to experience what it’s like to taxi inside the only flying Avro Anson Mk I in the world.
