Brighton Marathon 2026

The Brighton Marathon is one of the most iconic running events in the UK and you could grab your place with Team Breakthrough T1D today!

Starting in Preston Park, the Brighton Marathon takes you through the heart of the city, soaking up all the atmosphere along the way. You'll then run all along Brighton seafront, past the famous Palace Pier, before finishing on Hove Lawns, where you'll be treated to a hero's welcome and a festival feel to round off an amazing weekend.

Our places in the Brighton Marathon are limited, so don't delay, secure yours today and join us in the fight against type 1 diabetes.

Registration fee: £30

Minimum fundraising target: £500

The money you raise will go towards pioneering research into developing and improving treatments for type 1 diabetes, which we hope will one day lead to a cure.

You will also be helping us to provide ongoing support to those affected by type 1.

*Your Breakthrough T1D running vest will be sent to you once you have raised £100 towards your overall target. Vests are usually sent 1-2 months ahead of the event.
