The Taylorsville Arts Council will be showcasing BRIGHT STAR, the Tony Award-nominated musical by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell, on November 19-21 at 7:30 p.m. at Centennial Plaza.
Inspired by a true story, BRIGHT STAR is a deeply emotional tale that explores love, loss and the transformative power of redemption. When literary editor Alice Murphy meets a young soldier just home from World War II, he awakens her longing for the child she once lost. Haunted by their unique connection, Alice sets out on a journey to understand her past, and what she finds has the power to transform both of their lives. A beautifully genuine and soul-stirring musical, BRIGHT STAR captivates audiences with its deeply moving story and lively bluegrass score.
Tickets can be purchased soon online or at the door.
