About this Event
For the series, you register for the first date/session of the class. You are automatically enrolled for the second class. The class is offered on two consecutive Tuesdays or two consecutive Thursdays.
This class will be offered virtually, live, at the scheduled date and time you are registered for via the ZOOM app. You will need to be able to log-on with your computer or phone to participate in this virtual class. Instructions and the link to the class will be emailed to you the day of the class. It will have the same content, instructor, and group interaction as an in person class; the only difference is that everyone will be in their own homes. VIRTUAL Labor and Birth Class (series course)Cost $ 160 (cost includes a support person) This class will cover all aspects of Labor and Birth divided into two parts for those who prefer a shorter class time frame, and will cover:
Part one:
- Signs and stages of labor
- When to come to the hospital
- What to Bring
- Virtual Tour
Part two:
- comfort measures/Breathing and relaxation exercises to promote comfort and coping during labor
- partner/labor support
- anesthesia and pain management options
- cesarean birth, induction of labor, and other medical interventions
- postpartum
Please note:
- Wear comfortable clothing, such as yoga pants or leggings; we do some floor exercises.
- Feel free to bring water and snacks. There is not a dinner break.
- Please note, the ticket you purchase will have the class start date. Your ticket is good for both class dates. Each class will take place on two consecutive weeks.
- The zoom link will be emailed to you the day before the class.
