Come From Away is a musical that won four Olivier Awards, this award-winning show shares the incredible real-life story of the 7,000 air passengers (from all over the world) who were grounded in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, when the airspace shut down during the 9/11 attack. The community invited these 'come from aways' into their lives with open hearts.
This joyous story with soaring music brings spirited locals and global passengers together to forge friendships that will stay with them forever. Witness the first female American Airline captain, the quick-thinking town mayor, the mother of a New York firefighter and an eager local news reporter and many more who were caught up in a moment that changed the course of history and whose stories became a true celebration of hope and humanity.
This uplifting true story will have audiences leaving with their souls singing and reassured that there's still love and kindness in the world.
