Local author, Emma Woodhouse, will tell us of the murder that took place on this very night in 1848 in this very house...
Mercy is Woodhouse's historical novel built on a foundation of extensive archival research around the aforementioned real-life murder.
At this event we will be entertained by the author herself as she tells us about this gruesome but fascinating tale. She is more than happy to do a book signing at the end.
Tickets will cost £5 per person to include a festive glass of mulled wine and a mince pie... one not to be missed!
