Increasingly, ethical dilemmas and the leadership skills to navigate them dictate the direction of brands, organizations – and careers. Marlene has the ethical “insider information” – with her recently published research revealing a wide variety of ethical issues facing public relations professionals, as well as a corresponding gap in professional skills around ethical issues.
Marlene is coming to the Twin Cities for a one-time engagement:
- Come learn emerging ethical issues uncovered by Marlene
- Assess your own mastery of these core ethics skills, and
- Discuss strategies for building ethical skills in our practice of public relations and communications disciplines
Marlene’s travel is sponsored by Jim Lukaszewski, ABC, Fellow IABC; APR, Fellow PRSA; PRSA BEPS Emeritus 2015; and his www.e911.com leadership recovery communications resources, including FREE, his extensive writings on critical leadership and ethics topics – his 15th book, Influencing Leaders, comes out this Fall. Jim is an ethicist who has served on the PRSA Board of Ethics and Professional Standards (BEPS) for more than 30 years.
Keynote Speaker:
Marlene Neill, Ph.D., APR, Fellow PRSA
Marlene Neill is a professor and graduate program director at Baylor University where she teaches courses in public relations and advertising. At the national level, Neill served on the Universal Accreditation Board and the PRSA Board of Ethics & Professionals Standards. She also is a member of the Arthur W. Page Society and serves on the board of advisors for the Plank Center for Public Relations Leadership.
