Fresh from winning the People’s Choice Award at Fringe World Perth 2026, Dragged Through The Desert – A Priscilla Celebration is packing up the heels, the wigs and the disco ball and heading out on tour.
Inspired by the iconic Australian film Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, this glitter-drenched tribute is a joyous, laugh out loud celebration of music, friendship and unapologetic self-expression.
Hosted by award-winning live-singing drag sensation Dean Misdale — who starred in Priscilla Queen of the Desert The Musical at Crown Theatre — the show blends powerhouse vocals, heartfelt storytelling and cheeky comedy with the disco anthems audiences know and love.
Featuring hits including It’s Raining Men, I Will Survive, Hot Stuff and more, Dragged Through The Desert delivers big voices, dazzling costumes and pure feel-good nostalgia, all wrapped in warmth and wit.
