Bridges Out of Poverty is a nationally recognized training model designed to help community members – employers, organizations, agencies, and individuals – understand the dynamics that cause and maintain poverty. A certified Bridges trainer leads workshop participants to a deeper understanding of the obstacles faced by those living in poverty and encourages collaborative efforts to remove barriers and build strong and sustainable communities. We thank our community partners at First Citizens National Bank, Graphic Packaging, Ohio Mutual Insurance Group, and Alluvial Tax & Planning for sponsoring this event. A limited number of sponsorships are still available; please call us at 740-383-3108 for info.
The April 24 Marion workshop will be held in the Greg Swepston Gymnasium at the Alber Student Center. Many thanks to The Ohio State University at Marion for donating the use of this venue.
Registration is required. The $25 registration cost includes the full-day workshop and lunch. UWNCO-funded partner organizations will receive a complimentary copy of Bridges Out of Poverty book.
