Join us for the second edition of BRIDGES, this month celebrating Ghana!

Starting at 2:00PM we'll be enjoying incredible food by chef Ebbie Owusu and a delicious dessert from Francine Emefa Tamakloe, sharing good stories and great music at Commune Cafe + Wine Bar.

Film screening starts at 6:30PM, and this month we're presenting Ama (1991), directed by Kwate Nee-Owoo and Kwesi Owusu. In this 1991 film, a golden floppy disk becomes a prophetic device through which a young Ghanaian girl living in England, Ama, rediscovers her African identity.
