Hudson Valley Youth Jazz Orchestra is open to students in grades 8-12 or 18 years of age or younger by audition. HVYJO performs collegiate/professional level music and gives students and opportunity to work alongside each other, as well as top-tier guest artists. Open to: Students in middle or high school that play traditional jazz instruments including saxophone, trumpet, trombones, guitar, piano, bass, drum set as well as non-traditional jazz instruments like flute, clarinet, French horn, tuba, etc.
