The Brick Lane Curry Festival is back!
Following its hugely successful comeback in 2025 after a nine-year hiatus, the festival returns to the heart of Brick Lane and Banglatown for an even bigger celebration of food, music, culture and community.
Join thousands of visitors as Brick Lane is transformed into a vibrant street festival packed with incredible food, live music, dance, giant puppets, family activities and free entertainment throughout the day.
Come hungry, bring your friends and family, and experience the flavours, sounds and energy of one of London's most iconic neighbourhoods.
Eat your way around Brick Lane
Discover the food that has made Brick Lane famous around the world.
Participating restaurants will serve regional and speciality dishes from street-side stalls, alongside chef demonstrations and other culinary experiences celebrating the rich food heritage of East London's Bangladeshi community.

See Brick Lane come alive
The festival will open with a spectacular procession through the heart of Brick Lane, bursting with colour, music and movement.
Expect traditional lion dancing alongside performances from Taal Torongo, Showmi Das Dance Company, IMD Legion and Bolly Flex, plus three giant bespoke puppets specially created for the festival by acclaimed arts organisation Emergency Exit Arts.

Enjoy an incredible programme of live entertainment throughout the day, including performances from:

And that's not all – expect DJ sets, community performances and special guest appearances throughout the day.
Entertainment around every corner
From 12pm to 7pm, Brick Lane itself becomes a stage.
Look out for pop-up performances throughout the festival, from the infectious sounds of the Bollywood Brass Band and thunderous rhythms of dhol drummers to performances from talented students at Access Creative College.
With roaming performers and entertainment throughout the day, you never know what you'll discover around the next corner.
The Gaat: Family Zone
Bringing the family? Head to The Gaat, a dedicated space packed with free activities for all ages.
Try traditional saree draping and lungi wrapping, get moving with dance workshops led by IMD Legion and Bolly Flex, and experience South Asian culture through hands-on activities.
Younger festivalgoers can also enjoy sports, games and bouncy castles throughout the day.
