Intergenerational LGBTQ+ Café: Clothing Swap
About this Event

🌈 Brewing Connections at BAGLY

🎽 Clothing Swap

📅 Friday, December 4, 2026 | 6:00 – 8:00pm

📍 BAGLY's Community Center | 28 Court Square, Boston, MA

Join us for Brewing Connections, an intergenerational LGBTQ+ café where our community gathers to share experiences, listen deeply, and connect across generations.

This month, we’re swapping wardrobes! Bring the pieces you’ve loved and are ready to pass on, and leave with something new to you. Whether you’re refreshing your style, exploring your gender expression, or hunting for a showstopping look for the holidays, this is a space to try things on, trade freely, and be celebrated for exactly who you are.

Don we now our gay apparel! In the spirit of the season, we’ll gather around the racks and share the stories behind our favorite pieces: the jacket that carried you through your twenties, the first outfit that felt like you, the look you’re finally brave enough to try. Across generations, we’ll swap more than clothes, trading stories, style tips, and a little bit of sparkle. Together, we’ll build a living bridge, grounded in storytelling and collective care.

All unclaimed clothing will be donated to the !

Over light bites and warm drinks, LGBTQ+ community members of all ages are invited to connect, share, and celebrate the power of living our truths out loud.

☕ Conversation. Community. Connection.

Presented by: Ethos; Queer History Boston; The Pryde; LGBTQ Senior Housing, LGBTQ+ Elders of Color, and The City of Boston’s Mayor’s Office of LGBTQIA2S+ Advancement, Age Strong Commission, and Office of Youth Engagement and Advancement
