Open to all, on the last Thursday of the month, there is a new opportunity to join our crew for their morning teabreak, even if you're not volunteering here, simply come along to meet new people, share news about 'wasson' here, what's inspiring you, find/offer a bit of peer-support and stay connected.We all benefit from the health and wellbeing of feeling like we belong to an inclusive, kind community. Here at Bosavern Community Farm we believe that keeping things simple and yet rich in diversity is the key to success, so the more the merrier at this monthly drop-in, everybody is welcome from all walks of life.
Meet in the shop at 10:45 if you're new to the farm to pick up a leaflet, sign in, meet our shop volunteers and take a look around before joining the wider team for a brew when we down-tools for teabreak at 11am. We will either assemble outdoors at the picnic benches for tea if the weather is OK, or inside the polytunnel if the weather is wet or very windy so you might want a coat and beanie or sunhat and sunblock, depending on the weather!
This is a great way to connect with like-minded people from all walks of life both locally and from elsewhere in the world! Under 18s will need to either come with an adult or contact us in advance to discuss a suitable placement with the necessary parental consents and travel arrangements.
You are very welcome to just drop in for a brew, but hospitality volunteers are also welcomed to help pour teas, welcome new people, keep the conversations going and to clean away afterwards.
