Join us for a special evening celebrating Brent Rowan’s 25 years at Strings Music Festival and a milestone birthday, honoring a remarkable artist whose path to the top of Nashville was anything but typical.Largely self-taught and driven by instinct, feel, and a deep connection to song, Rowan built a career that would make him one of the most respected figures in country music. A five-time CMA Musician of the Year, he has played on more than 15,000 recording sessions, contributing to iconic recordings and film soundtracks alike. His work spans an extraordinary range of artists, including Chris LeDoux, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Olivia Newton-John, Sting, Neil Diamond, and many others, always with a focus on elevating the music rather than the spotlight.
Rowan’s impact extends beyond performance. As a producer, his first major project, Man with a Memory by Joe Nichols, earned a Grammy nomination for Country Album of the Year, a rare debut that speaks to both his ear for talent and his commitment to authenticity.
Since 2000, Brent has returned to the Pavilion each summer, inviting friends and collaborators to join him onstage. Over the years, those guests have included Tanya Tucker, Guy Clark, Joe Nichols, Clay Walker, and many more.
