Dust off your tackiest holiday gear and join us for a day of festive fun with a powerful purpose!
On Sunday, December 13th, 2026, the community is coming together at the BC Wildlife Park for the annual Brennan’s Ugly Sweater Run. Whether you tackle the 1km family stroll or the 5km fun run, every step you take helps raise funds for BGC Kamloops. Bring your family, your friends, and your best (or worst!) ugly holiday sweater.
📅 Event Itinerary
- 1:30 PM: Registration Opens
- 2:00 PM: 1km & 5km Fun Run Starts
- 3:30 PM: Prizes & Wrap-up
- Post-Event: Includes Admission to the magical Wildlights display!
🎟️ Ticket & Registration Options
- Individual Registration: $25 per person
- Family Package: $60 (Includes group registration)
- All participants receive goodie bags and entry into exciting prize draws from local business sponsors! Registration includes Wildlights admission that evening.
❤️ The Story Behind the Run
This event was started in 2017 by Payton Comazzetto to honor the memory of her brother, Brennan. Brennan was tragically killed by a drunk driver in 1999. He loved the magic of Christmas and possessed a massive heart for helping people in need. This run keeps his generous holiday spirit alive.

All proceeds directly support BGC Kamloops. They provide over twenty low-to-no-cost programs for children, youth, and local families. Your ticket helps sustain a vital "third place"—a safe, inclusive environment outside of home and school where kids truly belong.
