You'll be side-by-side with different walks yet like minded makers as you engage your hands and mind in fulfilling creative work!

Learn how to formulate custom soap scents using delicate essential oils that cater to emotional, mental and physical well-being. And witness an immersive demonstration on the art and science of cold-process soap-making. You’ll then scent and decorate a visually charming mini-batch of fresh cold-process soap using enchanting botanicals to match the spirit of your soap.

Socializing flows when there's a fun activity at hand. Step out of your comfort zone and into another during this intimate and uplifting workshop experience led by experienced and passionate soap-maker Brenda Brown. Join in!

ABOUT YOUR INTRUCTOR

Brenda Brown is a Virginia-based natural body care artisan and instructor with years of experience creating non-toxic soaps and body care professionally. The creative process helped her heal, manage stress and symptoms of depression. She set out to create therapeutic beauty aides that were true to their natural elements after experiencing the skin and holistic benefits of natural skincare. She works solely with essential oils as they are adaptogenic and work with the nervous system to achieve overall balance in the body. They also smell amazing! She enjoys teaching and helping individuals relax and heal.

After purchasing your ticket(s) you’ll receive an email with a class waiver, location details, and additional information to get you ready for class! You’ll be able to reply to the email if you have questions.

MINIMUM AGE:

18 years. We’ll be using strong caustic lye which is designed for use by adults.

WHAT TO BRING:

You'll be provided with all the protective gear and materials needed for class. We just ask that you bring or wear a long sleeve shirt and closed-toed shoes.
