Breathing 4 Two Breathwork is a 3-part group breathwork session for expectant women 21 weeks and beyond in their pregnancy. Maintaining calmness in the body during the perinatal period may improve the health of mothers and babies, leading to better outcomes.These group breathwork sessions focus on teaching natural and gentle breathing techniques that can 1) induce calmness, 2) reduce anxiety, 3) lower blood pressure, 4) improve mood, and 5) reduce the intensity of labor sensations, length of labor, and pushing time. Sign up today to experience the cumulative benefits of breathing in community with other women in this beautiful season of bringing forth life.
Breath Pattern: This group breathwork session will use a variety of gentle breathwork patterns. No experience is needed to participate in this 60-minute group breathing session. There will be a brief check-in and setup before the session, as well as an integration period at the end of the session.
How Breathwork May Impact You: dry mouth, coughing, tingling, vibrations or buzzing, involuntary bodily movements, changes in body temperature, tetany (involuntary curling of hands or feet and jaw tightness), dizziness, nausea, yawning, sleepiness, sexual arousal, and release of emotions (tears, laughter, etc), shifts in consciousness, and reminder of traumatic memories.
When: Fridays December 5th, 12th, 19th
Cost: $100 for all sessions
Where: In-person and virtual, the facilitator reserves the right to host sessions virtually only due to unforeseen circumstances
Time: 4:30 pm-5:30 pm
