About this Event

Breathe Well, Live Well: An Experiential Breathwork Workshop for Vitality, Nervous System Regulation & Resilience

What if one of the most powerful tools for changing how you feel, think, and respond is something you’re already doing every moment of your life?

Your breath.

Join Morgan Hallenbeck, Founder of Back to Eden LLC, for an immersive 90-minute introduction to the transformative practice of somatic, trauma-informed breathwork—a unique blend of education, intentional breathing, nervous system awareness, somatic practices, movement, sound, visualization, and deep relaxation.

This workshop is designed for both those who are completely new to breathwork and those who want to deepen their understanding of how different breathing patterns can support the body and mind.

🌿 What You'll Learn

Together, we'll explore:

• What breathwork is—and why different breathing patterns can create different experiences in the body
• How to recognize your natural breathing patterns without judgment or needing to “fix” your breath
• The connection between breathing, stress, emotional states, and nervous system regulation
• How to use specific breath patterns for calm, grounding, focus, energy, emotional release, and relaxation
• How breath, movement, sound, touch, and awareness can work together as somatic tools
• How to recognize when your system is becoming activated or overwhelmed—and practices that can help you return to greater balance
• How to begin creating simple breathwork rituals you can take into your everyday life

✨ Then, You'll Experience It

After learning the foundations, you'll be guided into an extended, experiential breathwork journey.

You'll be invited to settle into your body, connect with your natural breath, explore different rhythms and intensities, move, sound, release, rest, and ultimately return to a place of greater grounding and integration.

There is nothing you need to accomplish or perform. You won't be asked to force a particular experience or “get it right.” Instead, you'll learn to listen inwardly and discover what your own breath and body are communicating.

You may experience physical sensations, emotional movement, tingling, warmth, shifts in energy, stillness, or simply a deep sense of relaxation. Every experience is different, and you are always encouraged to honor your own boundaries and work at a pace that feels supportive.

🤍 You’ll Leave With

Practical breathwork techniques you can use beyond the workshop to help you:

• Create moments of calm during stress
• Ground and reconnect with your body
• Support greater emotional balance and resilience
• Shift your energy when you feel depleted or stuck
• Prepare your body and mind for rest and sleep
• Build greater awareness of your patterns and responses
• Develop a more intentional relationship with your breath

You'll also receive take-home practices and reflection tools so you can continue exploring what you discover long after the workshop ends.

You don't need to know how to breathe “correctly.” You don't need prior experience.

You simply need a willingness to pause, become curious, and experience what happens when you begin to listen to the breath that's been with you all along.

Breathe well. Be well. Come home to yourself.

It’s time you discover the healing power that’s already within you! Breathwork can create profound transformation from the inside out in all areas of our life when practiced regularly. As a breathwork mentor and facilitator, I'm committed to showing you how to use the language of the body to nurture greater balance internally and call in all that you desire externally, too. We're talking deep nervous system regulation!

All of my classes are taught through a trauma-informed lens and utilize somatic (body) based techniques. This is a safe space to land and all of you is welcome here! Each group class I teach is unique and lovingly created from scratch letting intuition and authenticity lead. Topics, themes, and teachings will vary and include breath techniques to promote harmony and healing in the mind-body-spirit complex. During each session, I also provide energy work in alignment with the focus of the class and individual needs.

How to prepare and what to bring:

1) If you haven't already, are new to my class, or your information has changed, please complete your General Medical Questionnaire (https://forms.gle/WhYJeTJhrxhMY2kR6) at least 24 hours prior to class.

2) We will have zero gravity chairs, blankets, and small PowerShout pillows for class. If you want to find some floor space to lie down for this practice instead, please bring your yoga mat and comfort items you'd like to have.

3) Grab a journal and pen. We often use this practice for opening and/or integration at the end. I would highly suggest bringing one so you can take note of any information that comes through and have something to reflect back on from your session. Breathwork can bring forward ah-has or new information from within.

4) Get comfy & step into safety. Wear something you can move freely in, whether athletic clothing, jammies or your go-to sweater. Additional supportive items like a favorite blanket, essential oils, a Bible, or crystals can also be brought to this space. The invitation is really to set yourself up to be comfortable and feel safe.

5) Hold off on meals and liquids. Refrain from drinking or eating heavily one hour before your session. This will maximize your comfort as we breathe. Bring a water bottle to have nearby to sip on.

This session will be a mix of seated learning and active breathwork offerings, followed by a journey where we will be reclined or lying down on the mat. Eye masks will be provided if that feels supportive. I will ask that all phones are silenced and watches that could disrupt your experience be taken off during the session.

Directions: Please arrive 15 minutes early. The doors will be locked when class starts to preserve this sacred space from disruption. Enter the Barnabas Complex at 4650 N. Port Washington Rd. on the east side of the road next to the Holiday Inn. Enter the circle drive and park in front of the Washington Bldg. Enter the Washington Bldg and ring the intercom #023 so you can get buzzed in. You may take the passenger elevator on the left to the third floor. Alternatively you may take the stairs to the second floor, take a left down a short hallway and up steep steps to the 3rd floor.

Please use a quiet voice and be mindful of the participants around you.
