Breathe Easy Wirral Welcome Event

Join us for a Covid-safer social event on the Wirral, our first ever! Running 4:30-8pm at Indigo in Rock Ferry, you are welcome to stay throughout or pop in for a little while. No one should have to choose between socialising and safety - grab your free ticket to sign up! Tickets available until 2:30pm on Saturday 12 September or until they run out.

Safety Requirements:

• Required: you must bring a mask to wear during the event while indoors. Drinks can be enjoyed outdoors in the Yarden, or via a mask with a sip valve.
• Required: you must do a lateral flow test or test (for Covid-19) on the day before the event.
• Required: you must tell us beforehand if you have Covid or are unwell (eg a new cough, sneezing, vomiting). Please do not come to this one - we hope you feel better soon and to see you at future events!
• Requested: we ask that you wear a high-quality (FFP2/FFP3) non-vented mask.
• Requested: we ask that you tell us beforehand if you have a condition (eg COPD, hayfever) that causes symptoms of coughing or sneezing.

Do you need an FFP2/FFP3 or a lateral flow test? Spares will be available on the day! The lovely indoor space will benefit from several air purifiers running before and during the event.

We've been assured that the cafe and Yarden including toilet facilities are fully accessible. Drinks are available from the cafe and can be enjoyed either outdoors in the Yarden or with a sip valve in your mask indoors.

Breathe Easy originated in 2024 with Sheffield organisers Chloe and Jade. Their events have included Covid-safer life drawing and cinema, as well as the UK's first Covid-safer gig. Breathe Easy Wirral is currently a kernel of an idea! We look forward to meeting new people, establishing connections across Merseyside and supporting the illness aware community.

Breathe Easy Wirral and Breathe Easy Sheffield operate independently and have separate funding, operations, and practices. We share a belief in harm reduction in event planning. We also share this name to make it easier for people searching for Covid-safer events, to inspire others to create their own, and to build solidarity among Covid-conscious people in the UK.
