Join Conservation Nebraska on September 26th from 6:00-7:30pm and step away from the noise of daily life and immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature at Lake Zorinsky with Denise Legg Braverlly, M.A., LIMHP, LIPC - Owner and Therapist of Hope & Wellness Center, P.C.This guided Shinrin-yoku session—commonly known as forest bathing—invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and engage your senses in a restorative encounter with nature. Throughout the walk, you’ll be encouraged to let go of distractions, attune yourself to the rustling leaves, the scent of earth, and the quiet pulse of the natural world. By practicing presence in the forest, you will nurture both mental well-being and an appreciation for the environment.
To conclude our experience, we’ll gather for a brief journaling session, offering space to reflect on the journey, express thoughts on conservation, and explore your own evolving connection to
nature. Whether this walk sparks new insights, soothes the mind, or strengthens your commitment to protecting the natural world, our hope is that you leave feeling more grounded, inspired, and deeply connected to the beauty around you.
Let nature guide you toward mindfulness, renewal, and a greater commitment to protecting the world around us!
