Join Vidya for a transformative workshop designed to calm the mind, balance the body, and nourish your soul. This three-part experience will guide you on a journey through the wisdom of yoga, the power of breath, and the art of deep rest.
We will begin with a brief talk on the Eight Limbs of Yoga, exploring how these ancient principles offer a holistic roadmap for a fulfilling life. You'll gain a deeper understanding of the "why" behind the physical practice and how it connects to your breath and inner state.
Next, you will be guided through a gentle yoga practice specifically designed to complement the breathwork. This accessible flow will focus on opening the chest and shoulders, creating space in the body to allow for a deeper, more cleansing breath.
The heart of our workshop will be a focused session on Nadi Shodhana, or alternate nostril breathing. You'll learn the proper technique and discover how this powerful pranayama can calm your nervous system, reduce stress, and promote mental clarity.
We will conclude the workshop with a blissful Yoga Nidra session. Often called "yogic sleep," this guided meditation will lead you into a state of deep relaxation, allowing your body to absorb the benefits of the practice and emerge feeling completely renewed.

Hailing from India, Vidya is an experienced and passionate yoga instructor with advanced training in Ashtanga and Vinyasa. She loves sharing her knowledge with fellow students and assisting them as they blossom in their own practice. She teaches and practices a full range of yoga styles, beginning with pranayama and focusing on asana perfection, transitioning to power yoga, and concluding with yoga nidra or meditation.
