Breathe & Release - Breakthrough Breathwork

Join Trauma-Informed Somatic Breathwork Practitioner Carla Wilkinson for a guided Breakthrough Breathwork session, where you'll explore Transformational Breathwork to support your wellbeing, personal transformation, and healing. Through Conscious Connected Breathing you will bypass the analytical mind, deeply reconnecting you with your body. While every journey is distinct, this session is designed to help you:

· Release suppressed stress, emotions, or trauma

· Transform old thought patterns and beliefs, and create space for new ones

· Reset the nervous system for optimal health

· Re-establish the mind-body connection

· Access altered states of consciousness to gain a deeper awareness

After a demonstration of the breath and guidance on safety, you’ll be guided through conscious connected activating Breathwork with curated music to support your journey within. This session welcomes individuals of all levels, offering a safe and supportive space for exploration and transformation.

What is Transformational Breathwork?

Transformational Breathwork is a breathing technique that involves using a specific pattern of conscious, controlled breathing to facilitate personal transformation and healing. This is an activating style of breath, stimulating the sympathetic nervous system to facilitate deep emotional, mental & physical release and transformation.

Benefits of Transformational Breathwork

Transformational breathwork reduces stress and anxiety, improves mental focus, enhances sleep and digestion, and increases energy and confidence. It calms the mind, regulates the nervous system, and aids in healing from past traumas and negative emotions.

Event Details

• Date: Sunday 7 July, 2024
• Time: 1.30pm-3pm (Please arrive 5 minutes early to settle in)
• Location: Bodiline Pilates & Yoga Studio

• Ticket Cost: $40 + booking fees
• Capacity: Limited tickets available to maintain an intimate and safe space.

What To Bring

• Wear comfortable clothing for ease and movement
• Water, yoga mat (also provided at studio), pillow, blankets to help you feel comfortable
• Please avoid eating food or consuming caffeine at least 60 minutes before the session
• Please come with an open mind, be present and free from distractions

Contraindications

Contraindications for this experience are pregnancy, any serious medical conditions, schizophrenia, seriously high or low blood pressure, epilepsy or seizures, bi-polar, epilepsy, cardiovascular issues or heart condition. Upon arrival we will be asking you to complete a Medical Declaration form so please ensure you let us know if there are any concerns ahead of time.

Carla is a dedicated certified breathwork instructor, holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and possesses a passion for health and well-being. Her personal journey led her to discover how powerful breath can be for sparking significant change. Drawing from her background in psychology and her deep understanding of breathwork, Carla educates & empowers others, helping them to tap into the transformative power of the breath and cultivate vibrant, healthy and thriving lives.
