Breath Support for Singers: Sing With Power, Control & Zero Strain
Schedule
Sat Jan 31 2026 at 01:30 pm to 03:30 pm
UTC-05:00Location
Toronto Public Library - Toronto Reference Library Meeting Room B1 | Toronto, ON
About this Event
Most singers strain because they were never taught how breath support actually works in the body.
In this hands-on, in person workshop, you’ll learn how to:
- Sing louder without pushing
- Hold notes without running out of air
- Feel stable and supported across your range
This is not theory. You’ll feel the difference immediately.
Perfect for singers who:
- Get tired quickly
- Feel tight in the throat
- Want more control and confidence when singing
Why This Workshop Is Different
Most singers are taught to “breathe deeper” or “support more” — without ever being shown what to feel in the body.
In this workshop, you won’t memorize concepts or warm-ups.
You’ll experience clear physical cues that show you:
- When support is actually working
- Why pushing happens
- How to fix it immediately
This is practical, repeatable, and designed to work the same day, not months later.
*No experience required. All styles welcome.
**Attendance is limited to ensure individual attention and a comfortable learning environment.
***This is not a Toronto Public Library event.
