Park Yoga are unable to deliver outdoor Yoga classes to the Bridport Community this year. So a group of local Yoga teachers that have been delivering these sessions for the last few years, and many new teachers, have decided to step in and run free outdoor Yoga and movement classes each Sunday.
We will continue to meet at Bridport Playing Fields on a Sunday morning, from 9:30 to 10:30. The sessions are truly free to all comers and you will not be asked for a donation. For this to happen all the teachers are giving their time for free, for which I thank them for their kindness and spirit.
Everyone is welcome, the sessions are ideal for beginners who would like to try yoga for the first time and also old timers who have been coming for years! Come along and experience the joy of moving your body outside in the fresh air �
There is no need to book, just turn up and see for yourself.
A couple of words of advice:
We suggest you wear loose, comfortable clothing which allows you to move and stretch, bring along a blanket/towel/mat to practice on, a drink, some sunscreen and a hat if sunshine is forecast ��
Please be aware that you take part at your own risk as the group is too large for our teachers to offer advice and assistance to individuals. If you are pregnant, injured or suffer from a medical condition, these sessions may not be suitable for you and we suggest that you consult your doctor or health professional before taking part in this or any other physical activity.
