You might think, "I already know how to breathe!" But mastering the art of breathwork can have a profound impact on your life, helping to release trapped emotions, reduce stress, and shift your mindset. A regular breath practice can lighten your emotional load and make life's challenges easier to navigate.
When we hold onto stress and trauma, it can create tension in the body, leading to shallow breathing and potential health issues. Proper breathing, especially engaging the diaphragm, helps bring balance and vitality. Breathing through the nose, rather than the mouth, boosts cardiovascular health and increases oxygen flow, but many of us don’t realize the power of our breath.
In this workshop, we'll begin with some gentle yoga to open the body, followed by breathwork and meditation. Don't worry—you won’t be asked to sit still for hours! The pranayama (breathwork) will help prepare your body and mind for a deeper meditation practice, calming your "monkey mind" and allowing you to connect with your inner peace.
For those who want to dive deeper, Tina will offer simple daily breathwork practices and intention-setting exercises to support your journey—whether it’s inner peace, better health, or self-love. And let’s face it, we all need a little encouragement from a like-minded community! This practice will leave you feeling more grounded, clear, and ready to face life with a healthy body and mindset.
Beginners are warmly welcomed! While this workshop focuses on gentle breath techniques, I do ask that you complete a health form beforehand to ensure the practice is safe and effective for you. Come breathe with us and discover how simple, intentional breath can transform your life!
This session is just £15. 100% of profits from this session go straight to Revive Staffordshire CIC and are reinvested into Burntwood's yoga studio and community wellness initiatives.
